Tyrone Supatan

Chartered Physiotherapist

Tyrone Supatan is a dedicated and passionate physiotherapist with over two decades of diverse experience in healthcare across multiple international settings.

His professional journey began in the Philippines, where he earned his degree in Physical Therapy in 1997. He later expanded his clinical expertise in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working as a physiotherapist from 2002 to 2005. In 2008, he achieved a major professional milestone by passing the U.S. National Physical Therapy Examination, earning qualification to practise in the United States.

In 2005, Tyrone relocated to the UK and continued building his healthcare experience while working as a healthcare assistant. Driven by his commitment to professional excellence and alignment with UK practice standards, he completed a four-year Physiotherapy degree in 2014, gaining HCPC registration and further strengthening his clinical expertise.

In addition to his professional qualifications, Tyrone holds a Master’s degree in Health and Wellbeing from Leeds Trinity University. This advanced training has equipped him with a strong holistic perspective, enabling him to address not only physical symptoms but also the broader factors that influence recovery, long-term health, and overall quality of life.

He is a strong advocate of massage therapy as both a preventative and restorative treatment strategy, integrated alongside skilled physiotherapy interventions. He utilises evidence-based pain management approaches, including manual therapy techniques, soft tissue mobilisation, and targeted exercise programmes, to optimise recovery and functional outcomes.

Tyrone’s NHS clinical experience includes treating patients with cardiopulmonary, orthopaedic, and neurological impairments. He also has extensive experience managing individuals with acute, chronic, and post-operative spinal conditions, as well as patients with chronic pain and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.

He particularly enjoys applying his clinical expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, orthopaedic care, and geriatric rehabilitation. His patient-centred approach focuses on restoring movement, improving independence, reducing pain, and empowering individuals to actively participate in their rehabilitation journey.

Tyrone’s core purpose as a physiotherapist is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of his patients. Whether supporting recovery from injury, managing long-term conditions, or enhancing overall wellbeing, he is committed to delivering high-quality, personalised, and compassionate care.
